Browsing cards at a show or shop... and a G or VG card has a price sticker of the NM value..then they have another sticker on the holder "proudly stating 25% or 50 % off "..
which is where the card price should have almost been from the start !

-Smelling gasoline on my hand all day after filling up. You CAN'T get that off!

-Being stuck in 2MPH traffic on the 405FWY with a pickup truck full of surly day laborers sitting right in front of my winshield for thirty minutes or so.

-Yelling out BINGO! by mistake and the resulting beatdown I get from all those church ladies with their walkers.

-That guy in the bathroom stall next to me loudly talking to his girlfriend/boyfriend/whomever on his cell phone. Give a guy some peace in the crapper for God's sake!

-Those guys at the gym who grunt, really loud.

-Those tennis girls who grunt, really loud.

-All women pro golfers...believe me... I live in it.

-When I go to a restaurant and try to pour the crushed red pepper on my pizza, only the stupid bottle doesn't pour more than one flake out at a time.

-Going to the bathroom, washing/drying my hands, and then walking outside only to have someone IMMEDIATELY shake my hand.

-People who think accountant's are boring on the weekends.

-Goth.

-Moron's who don't list their prices on the BST board.

When someone refers to the 1949 LEAF BB cards as a "1948" issue........

and, especially all those uninformed Grading Co. that have mis-labelled all the 1949 Leaf cards.



OK, you decide....Paige's 1949 LEAF card was issued in the Summer of '49.







Paige's 1949 BOWMAN card was issued in the Fall of '49.

I know his first cards were the Leaf and Bowman's, I do have a very nice '49 Bowman Paige.

I meant his rookie YEAR. Back in the negro leagues when was the first year he played? Late 1920's or was it in the 1930's. Paige was "The Man" along with Dizzy Dean in the early 30's.

To Bob: If you hate pumping gas then don't leave the state of NJ,only time I pump gas is when I go to Pittsburgh and even then sometimes I can't figure it out. Luckily people see the NJ plates and help without asking

I hate when people type/text ASAP. I've never done anything faster when thats been said and if fact I've deleted 2 people from my phone who have sent that in a text telling me to write them back ASAP. They other phrase I hate,and I hate it so much Im not even going to type it out is when someone says they will eat a certain black bird if they're proven wrong

Most of us that understand you are afraid to bid on an OJ Corcoran card. If you were a few years older I'd be be steering the FBI your way and telling them that Hoffa bought an N172 Corcoran card and you found out about it.
