Default PSA Graded Mantle card a REPRINT??

Hi Guys:

OK Exhibit collectors. Please take a look at this Exhibit card listing of Mantle and let me know if you agree that this is a reprint.

The front looks funky and the gray back is the dead give away for me. Or will the seller say it's just the scan?

Please take a look and LMK your thoughts

I can't say whether or not it is a fake but I consider this seller to be top notch in my past dealings with him.

Its been a while, but i remember talking to a guy in out Post-war forum here. He gave me a lesson on these exhibits. As for the backs, i think its suppose to be a sephia or creme color.

Found part of a post by Smtjoy:
The biggest issues is between black and white vs brown/sepia print if you consider them both variations then you will be looking for over 350+ cards, same goes for those printed with different size "Made in the USA" as well as those with "Printed in the USA" versions, those would put you over 400 different cards.

Fake, especially as compared to two of my own which I have at hand right now.

Not looking to blame the dealer here. More of a PSA "problem"

What can be done here? I am not a TPG collector, Can you notify them and "inform" them of their mistake? Any one done this?

Thanks to Whiteymet for pointing this out to us. We bought the card already graded by PSA and will take it down from eBay now --- whiteymet just contacted me this evening. I will also contact PSA on Monday to see what they will do for us, since we bought the card already in the PSA holder, which is in perfect shape -- no evidence of tampering whatsoever. Thanks again for the heads-up. BTW, we are also contacting the seller who originally sold it to us in April.

Mike, do you set up at the Chantilly Show, being as your stated location is nearby Alexandria?

Thanks for your kind words, clydepepper. We truly appreciate it.
We, as does everyone on this board, want to keep the hobby great for everyone, so taking down the card was a no-brainer. We appreciate whiteymet reaching out to us. And to answer ValKehl, we will not be in Chantilly this year, as I will be on vacation that weekend, but we might start doing Chantilly starting in October. Staffing the show is an issue now, though, as our partners are now located in different areas of the country.

Nice job Mike. If only all sellers cared about the hobby.

Thanks glynparson -- on a side note, I see that those of you on this Net54 thread identified this issue two months ago. I didn't find out until last night --- if y'all ever see anything on our site that makes you question anything, please don't hesitate to call or email us (MDsportscards@gmail.com or (571) 449-3470) --- we would like to remedy the situation as soon as possible.
