Which might explain why none of the posts following Jeff's have included a pickup. Haha.

Nice snag Jeff!

Jeff takes all the cake indeed. But I am still proud of this fella. And if any net54 member ended up with the 1904 Pittsburgh Leader Wagner, congrats and great battle, you win!

Congrats on that Wagner! I think you got a steal. I was watching it closely. Definitely high on my want list.

True not much else would unless another member picks up a Wagner. Nice pick up Jeff. A relative bargain compared to what they were reported to go for when the find was first announced.

Congrats on the Cobb, Jeff— must've been a thrilling auction for you.

Rose Wagner is a great card as well; kudos for bringing that home, Rhotchkiss.

That N300 Anson is outstanding. Great card & aesthetically better than the Cobb for me.

So we can all agree that Jeffrey wins the month of February, right?

Onto March...

Mayos are beautiful cards when they are in that condition, and if you are looking to work on a 19th century baseball set, Mayos are really the only one that can be finished.

It’s nuts that the Anson is like a throw-in, after the Cobb. I agree, close the thread, onto March!

Yes, it was a Best Offer on eBay for about 3 hours when I saw it. Consignor bought it in a Pennsylvania auction. I'm not sure if it had more of a handle or a piece of rubber on the bottom end at some point.
