Default Question for caramel card collectors

Notice on the top border of the below E92 Nadja how it says "American Caramel Co." in title case. In my limited years of collecting, I have never seen this on a E92 Nadja caramel card.

Are any collectors out there aware of a caramel card set (either sports or non-sports related) that could very well have this same printing near the bottom of the card?

The closest match I've been able to find, thanks to the help from DJ (x2drich2000), is the E75 Prizefighters issue which could be a real possibility.

Although this may not garner much attention, I thought it was a pretty neat find and would like to find out any additional information about this card and its possible sheet mate(s).

Thanks,
Turner Engle

Default E92 Nadja

That's very cool. Looks like the same printer produced both sets and since the E75 set is small it makes sense that they printed other cards to use the entire sheet.

Have you aligned the top with an E75 to see if the lettering size matches?

Great to see this posted. To me it makes sense as well that multiple sets were printed on the same sheets. I first became aware of this possiblity when I saw the "E78 PrizeFighter Backs" found on a couple ball players was also found on an E8 USS Connecticut card owned by a board member. For comparison, here is the E8 and Young PrizeFighters. Also there is at least 1 E78 boxer with an E8 back: http://nov12.hugginsandscott.com/cgi...l?itemid=51835

Pete, to me the biggest indicator was the fact the E75 have American Caramel Co in both upper and lower case. Other sets I looked at only have the American Caramel Co in all uppercase letters. I couldn't think of or find any other sets with the mix of upper and lower case where the American Caramel Co is at the bottom of text.

Not yet, but I'll be looking for an example at National to properly compare the lettering size.
