He also has a bunch of HOF and star player Cracker Jack cards on ebay which look pretty wooly.

His tobacco cards are fake as well, red old mills, now there is a variation I do not have.

Since the seller has perfect feedback with a score north of 5,000, I emailed him about these auctions. My guess it is more a case of somebody making a find (estate sale), and not knowing what they are doing. I hate to assume fraud every time one of these comes up. Most times maybe yes, but not every time. Plus he is from my old home state of Michigan.

Either a case of fraud or a case of negligent misrepresentation.

Who said anything about fraud? I wrote him and told him they were reprints so his response will determine the agenda.

5500 Feedbacks

NO (ZERO) Negatives

Item descriptions includes the following statement:

I guarantee satisfaction with item or your money back, including shipping

The worst that can happen is you waste a little time to find out if the cards are authentic (or not).

At least there aren't any Cobb or Jackson CJs and at least the cards don't have those all too familiar "burn/flame" marks around the edges. The scans are pretty bad but that guarantee says a lot about the sellers credibility.

and what is with the weird shape? Crawford seems to be looking right at you, and doesn't get thinner toward the left, but the card is cut thinner toward the left.''I have seen fake N.L. (red backs), and they look muddy; this is the first fake (?) A.L. card I've seen. And the blue is muddy.

How deo you get 100% feedback with 5000, taking scans like THAT?

O.K. Was Crawford in the A.L?

The seller says he is pulling all of the auctions but the Rittenhouse. He says they came from an old farm house estate and were found in a box of toys that has an arcade truck, old
games, and an Amos & Andy car. The other items were from another source and are being pulled, if not already done.
