The Philly (Ft. Washington/Reading) show

The Philly show (Ft. Washington/Reading show) website has been partially updated to reflect that Hunt Auctions has taken over the show. The old show was (outside of the National) the very best show for vintage baseball cards & memorabilia. The focus was vintage. All the auction houses were there as well as the big-time dealers. They did have two guests both Sat & on Sun at free or low cost prices. But, cards was the focus, not autographs.

Now, it looks like there will be quite a lot of big name autograph guests. I'm curious on everyone's opinion what this show will evolve into ? Same dealer quality as before ? Or, is going to be many autograph guests with a few dealers selling shining stuff & supplies ?

This is the only show I attend. I went to the last Reading show and really enjoyed the amount of vintage. Looks like I will be going on Sunday and probably taking my daughter so she can meet Jennie Finch. My daughter is a softball pitcher as well. She will be excited to hear this.
