Great Ebay customer service experience
So it finally happened, I had to make the dreaded ebay customer service call. I have read many complaints on the board about what a hassle they are to deal with and how they always side with the buyer in disputes. I will spare you the details of my minor problem. But I sold something, the buyer made a request that couldn't be honored, and filed a PayPal claim a day later and left unwarranted negative feedback.
I called in with my concern at around 9 PM pst on a Sunday night. I got through to a person quickly, explained the issue, was transferred to a person who could help, and had the negative feedback removed in less than 10 minutes. When I was transferred I didn't have to repeat my whole story as the previous associate actually left good notes. About all I could ask for really.
