My guess is they used a photo of Cobb for their inspiration and changed the uniform to sorta resemble Pittsburgh. Playing on both the popularity of Cobb and Wagner.

I thought it looked like Cobb, but thought it odd that he would be on a Cubs/Sox schedule. Also, it looks like a P on the cap.

I reckon that the P on the hat and the uni refer to the Albert Pick company and that the picture is based on a photo of Cobb

After some quick research, it appears the schedule is for the 1911 season.

White Sox 1911 Game Log: http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1911/VCHA01911.htm
Cubs 1911 Game Log: http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1911/VCHN01911.htm

Looking for T206 in Poor to Good condition.

I would definately say it's supposed to be Cobb. They are trying to sell matches and they say "It's a sure hit". Who better to use than Cobb with that tag line? Of course they probably didn't want to pay him, so they used an image that's instantly recognizable, but don't use his real team designation and never actually say it is Cobb. That way they don't have to pay him for endorsement.
