I was just wondering if anyone on the board is familiar with the w unc big head issue. The back of the Larry Doyle card has some type of drawing on the back. Years ago, when I acquired this card, I thought some kid had scrawled on the back and I never paid much attention to it until recently. Does anyone have one of these type cards with a similar drawing on the back or can anyone tell me what player is represented on the back? Thanks in advance for any help.WUNC Larry Doyle back WUNC Larry Doyle Front

"That bird flew right into your head, like he couldn't avoid it"

I believe the reverse of your big head to be a sketch unrelated to the issue.

My newest set I am collecting is Big Heads....I think they are cool little wacky looking cards. The back of your card almost looks like the front bled through?

The Bigheads are some of the coolest cards made. I have the entire set sans Judge and Sisler (if anyone has these 2 for sale or trade, please email me). There should be no writing on the back of any cards. The drawing could be a couple other players. I am trying to upload a scan from photobucket, but I have no clue what I am doing wrong. Leon, I need a tutorial. I will try and post some scans soon.

Send some jpegs to my email....And have you read the directions at the bottom of the Rules page? Always be sure the scans are below 128k and don't have any funky characters in their name...no dot's, dashes, etc....except the .jpg at the end......also, some browsers don't work well.. If you can see the "insert object" button, right below this screen, then your browser should be fine.....you can do a search and find some other stuff too...pretty easy once you get the hang of it..good luck

Leon- Tough set to complete. I just picked Hornsby off Ebay last month (Thanks G). Ruth looks like he is in a red uni. If these were produced in 1916, it could share his rookie card with the Sporting News. I wish. One day I will figure out how to upload pix so that you don't need a 36" monitor to see the image.

Edited to say- The image on the back of the Doyle card could be a sketch of Milan. It's the only other image where the player is holding his hands together.

Those are some great bigheads. It is a tough set to put together as I rarely see them on EBAY and when I do I have ween outbid. If anyone runs across any poor conditioned bigheads, keep me in mind, I would love to put this set together.
