Actually working in the town of Hartland Wisc now

it was "only" 50 something yrs ago they were pumping out these plastic treasure's

I love the history of those Hartlands. I also like the Danbury Mint figures. They have a Robin Yount one I'd kill for.

As far as ones I collect, I do have a small collection of McFarlands. Doe Dimaggio, Hank Aaron, and some of the Packers. I'd love to expand the baseball collection. Sadly, they're no longer doing baseball as of this season. No more Cooperstown Collection, then. So many all-time greats never got a figure, like Stan Musial, Eddie Mathews, or Ernie Banks.

But they made eight Derek Jeters.

That's a shame, I always liked seeing the new McFarlands on the shelves. Got my two Fisks and a Jim Thome in the "collection."
