Default Really rough Aarons

I picked these up many years ago, forgot about them, and just found them going through some boxes (BORED - snowed in and still getting about an inch an hour). I probably bought them as "Venezeulan", but my question is - When did Topps stop making Venezuelan cards? Also, whoever glued the cards down used a LOT of glue. I can't pull even pull up a corner to look at the backs. Any ideas about them?

from my research, there isn't necessarily any 75 topps venezuelan cards. I have a 68 ryan and saw your 68 aaron...and as with those, it clearly states "hecho in venezuela" and is made of a lower quality paper.

I have seen several people offer "75 Venezuelan topps", however all the cards do not vary from the regular issued ones. I do know that there was a "a sticker album" that was made for 75 topps but im pretty confident that just regular issued topps cards were distributed there...

Above find an ebay link to a 1975 Venezuelan card. As mentioned by the previous poster, I do not believe there was a separate issue for the regular US teams in Venezuela that year. It is possible that an album could have been produced to house Topps cards produced in the US and shipped south. Rather than speculate any further I will refer you to the 3 people who I believe know the most about the Venezuelan issues:

Josh A- he is on this board - user name - A761506

John Rumierz - The ebay link above is one of his

and Tampa Bay cards - here is a link to his ebay store:

I LOVE the Venezuelan cards and have quite a few.

Default Just found this

Looks like Larry from Tampa Bay has a 75 "Venezuelan" set and confirms in fact that the cards were produced in the US.
