Anyone familiar with this book on N & T cards?

I was browsing thru Amazon's website and found this book:
American Tobacco Cards: A Price Guide and Checklist
by Robert Forbes, Terence R. Mitchell. It was published in 1999 and supposedly covers all N & T card issues with sample pictures. Does anyone have this book and want to recommend it? Thanks.

this is a great reference work for nonsports cards and of course contains the sports cards as well. checklist's , sizes, descriptions, variations, etc. pay no attention to the pricing though.

I will heartily second Scott B's recommendation that it is an incredibly well done book and beautifully illustrates many non sports N and T issues.

I only wish there was a similar reference for non sports candy issues as I have a few that I'd love to find checklists for but have no idea where to look...

good book for nonsports cards. There is very little information on sports cards, however. The T cards in particular are MIA.

The co-author, Bob Forbes, bought some tobacco coupons from me as part of his research for another book - we traded information and he sent me a signed copy of his book. He's a really neat guy and a great resource for tobacco card information - meticulous researcher as well and a true asset to the hobby.
