Default Great Selling on Ebay - 52 topps Pafko

Posted By: Peter

I just cannot believe that people will bid up a card like this and that there are still 4 days to go on this acution. Also, the seller has a reserve higher than $635.

This card is worth $300-$350 USD period (PSA 4 at best). I need to have someone like this marketing my cards for me when I sell them. Where are buyers like this when I am selling cards? Of course I would have to overgrade my cards by a minimum of 2 grades when listing them.

A horrible looking bad off center card in a PSA 4 holder might only be worth $300-$350 like you say. But to anybody buying the card and not the holder, the card has the kind of eye appeal that will cause it to go for at least double that.

The seller isn't selling a PSA 4. It's a centered card with a nice picture and not much corner wear. You may be basing your grade of the card on the seller's mention of a very light surface crease in the corner, and if he's talking about the bottom left corner it isn't that bad looking. Would it grade out as a 6. Probably not, but it sure doesn't look like a $350 card based on the picture.

That is why I listed the prices of the last 11 sales of PSA 4 cards of 52 Topps #1 RB - no matter what the ebay sellers card will only grade a PSA 4 and I am quite sure that a few of the last 11 wsales of PSA 4s were nice for the grade. It still is only going to be a PSA 4 no matter what it looks like and lets see where the price ends up 4 days from now. I guess it is not a concidence that it is ebay newbies biding it up. I still could not describe a card like this as EXMT when selling it.
