Hey Max:

Nice pickups. I was watching them as well. I had to show some restraint after my big purchase yesterday. I saw another item that had same "single catcher" image on ebay last month as well. I also noticed that the other catcher & batter image was issued the same day from all the different cities. I'm guessing you have 3 different cities now?

Isn't that Joe Jackson in the far left, top row?

Hey Max:

Nice pickup. I was tempted to bid on that photo both times it was listed. I noticed that Sid Smith, the Southern League catcher is in the front row right side. You might find some others in there as well. At the very least, some cool autographs.

I have waited a long time for this one. I picked it up in last month's Huggins and Scott auction. Not a bad looking SGC 10.

Hey Patrick do you know if this Sid Smith ever played for the Columbus Senators? This photo is marked Sid Smith and is circa 1912.

Hi Dan:

I know that he's in the T206 set, T210, and T211 sets. The player in Max's photo resembled the Sid Smith in the T206 set. I noticed that the baseball reference site listed a Syd Smith but no Sid Smith interestly. All the cards I have seen show him as Sid not Syd, so I guessing the baseball reference site might be incorrect.

Well, in 2 to 3 weeks, I have picked up 1/17th of the T206s. Two lots (17 cards total), several HOFs (Cobb, Johnson, Bender, Two Youngs, Mathewson), 3 Chase cards, Smith - Boston/Chicago and Brown - Wash. My favorites so far are the Red Cobb portrait and the Big Train portrait (PSA2):

Just picked these up. Decided to focus on the Reds. The whole "Monster" thing is scary!

So as not to offend anyone, you'll notice "raw" & "slabbed"
