Default Rex Barney No Hitter Stub

I just picked this up from a seller. I am sure I over payed like usual especially cause this back, but I figured I needed it for my ticket run. Anyone have any idea as to its value? I can not find any comps anywhere.

Stephen,
A Rex Barney no-hitter ticket in nicer shape would sell for $175- $225.
Because of the glue on the back plus the fact that it appears to be trimmed (using scissors?) at the perforation instead of being torn, I would estimate your stub's value being somewhere in the $100 range.

I hope this is helpful...

I can't add anything on value of the ticket, but it's a neat treat for me to see it. My grandfather was a die-hard Brooklyn fan going back to the late 1910's. When I was a kid he told me many times about Rex Barney's no-hitter against the hated Giants. Many years later when I was designing the graphics at Oriole Park at Camden Yards I got to meet Rex, who was the O's PA announcer. That afternoon talking to Rex Barney and him telling me first hand about the no-hitter that was such an important memory of my grandfather's is one of my favorite baseball memories. His life story is pretty interesting, from a young can't-miss prospect to failure and the brink of suicide and then to reemergence as the Orioles beloved PA man. A real class-act Rex Barney was.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm glad this stub could bring back some of those memories for you.
