It's been a week and the last thread is getting pretty full. Plus I wanted to showoff a nice pickup off the BST from Board Member Steve F. It's not baseball but I think it is somewhat baseball related.

Thanks Steve!!

for most folks here, but I'm enjoying this latest addition to my sidebar "Most Powerful or Otherwise Important & Attractive Images of Pre-war Tobacco Baseball Cards" Collection.
Thanks Jeff S.

Picked up another terrific looking large old photo. Looks to be in the original frame.
The back had wood backing held in with nails. Don't know who the team is but love the
photo. Overall size is 11x15.

The Graham throwing was a Christmas gift from my wife, Loretta

Schmidt came from Brian W's collection. Joe Jones had a similar card on B/S/T that I was able to replace Brian's with. Thanks, guys.

Head-up e-mails from Martin, Brian and Art let me know this one was available on eBay. It comes from Jim Manos. Thanks to all on this one.

When going through his cards, Jim found he had another with the backstamp. Thanks, Jim.

Finally, Jeff Kennedy found this one in his collection. Thanks for the deal, Jeff.

This brings me up to 35 in the collection. Brian still has one I need to find a trade for, Art has two. Plus the four sold by TnT Collectibles in Pittsburgh that still show up in their auctions, but were gone before I started this crazy thing. Guess we'll see where I'm at on May 4 (one year after concentrating on just these cards). Thanks to everyone for their continued help.

I received these 1912 zeenuts in the mail today in a trade.

They fit in perfectly with my other 1912 zeenuts.

Thanks again Steve!

Love the in-game action shot of Hornsby on the under-appreciated V100 issue.

You know those Schmelzer pinbacks? Well here's a few players from the company team from about the same time the pinbacks were issued.

There was one other Schmelzer player that sold on ebay about a week ago that I missed out on...if that person is here at Net54 I will pay you double what you won it for if you want to sell it.

Matt - I love the Hornsby!

Bill - I'm partial to Cincy players and your Ewing looks like a great card.

Congrats, RC

thanks Jason. It is definately pretty sharp looking on the front..and I'm wondering if this is one of those cards that PSA would have in a PSA 4.

Ken W:

They came as part of a Cuban League Album that I won in a Leland's Auction a couple of years ago.

A Young Leo the Lip as a player for Gas House Gang. Honing his craft that we would still be seeing 40yrs later.

Mike -- great pickup. Two once in a lifetime cards. I hope you fully restocked Dan's red Cobb supply in exchange!
