Default T208 Related Stuff

Organizing the old hard drive and I found two old ads I had saved and never posted here (I don't think). The first is from 1905 and gives two addresses, one of which (610 Turtle St) appeared on the cards. The second is from Billboard magazine in November 14,1942 and shows a bunch of equipment being sold off, possibly by his son but maybe the Fireside man himself. Not earth shattering but maybe of help to someone researching the set:

Thanks for posting. I was going through the T sets in my head yesterday, and thinking of associated items known, and when I got to T208 there were less (none I could remember) than any other T set. I am not studying the set per se' but definitely am interested in anything pertaining to it. Great stuff and thanks again Dave.

FWIW, tobacco distribution, confectionery distribution and vending distribution used to go hand in hand, at least from what I have seen when it comes to how Topps did business back in the 30's-70's. This tying together of the two with Mr. Cullivan just reinforces the link.
