I know it's a little OC long, but does it look trimmed? Thanks for your help!

In my experience, and others on the board have much more, M116's are all over the board on size. I really don't think that size alone is a determining factor. From the scan it looks ok to me. BTW, you will almost never see Cobb with big borders either. regards

Paul- Leon correctly states that Sporting Life cards' sizes vary greatly, so much in fact that I have had cards with larger borders than this Matty come back "trimmed" and cards with about the same size borders as this Matty come back graded. The most notorious card is the pastel Bender which you almost always find looking like it has been heavily trimmed, regardless of condition, indicating the card (for some bizarre reason) was consistently cut with small borders. I also agree with Leon on Cobb cards. I have a pastel Cobb in very nice shape which I was able to pick up for a discount because it appears trimmed when in fact it matches the exact sizes of other cards subsequently graded. Go figure...

Thanks for the opinions. It's my first M116, so not to familiar with them. I don't have it in hand yet, & I'm still waiting for that brown truck to show up. I have many pre war HOFers, & was starting to get a complex that I didn't have a single Matty, & I bought this one pretty quick. Too much coffee today, so I started getting a little paranoid. I'm going to see how far I can get with the blue backgound set.
