Default What are overprints, specifically t206's?

Read some about the Old /ill counterfeit ones in the past and have seen some on ebay. I assume these are cards which have been printed on twice, correct?

They seem to have brighter colors, are more vivid as well.

How do they affect the value of the card if the image still looks sharp and vivid?

Thx in advance!

If you are referring to overprinted T206 backs there are two types..........

1st series SWEET CAPORAL 150 Factory #30 cards were modified in order to be shipped to Factory #649 (34 subjects).

3rd & 4th series SWEET CAPORAL 350-460 Factory #30 cards were modified in order to be shipped to Factory #42 (109
subjects).

I should have been more clear...I was mainly curious about the fronts of the cards, and if in fact over printed just meant it was printed on twice. Finally how do these OPs affect card value.
