Default I wish PSA would fix these problems

A great company IMO, but for some issues they just can't seem to solve their holdering problem. I'd rather they just refuse to grade them than do this. Wedged HARD under the slats.

Yeah, I hate the way they holder irregularly sized items. Sometimes even when they have the right sized slab. They just don’t care...

you’d have to be blind not to see psa’s shortcomings.

I am scared of that exact issue. I have a Pathe Freres Ruth that I have been considering sending to them with their new larger holders, but I don't want to get it back looking like that.

I've sent a Pathe Freres to PSA to see how it will look in the new jumbo holder. Will let you know how it turns out.

this was a little cockeyed when it delivered, but I was able to knock it straight a little.

I have had good success in tapping the sides of holders until the card is straight. I have even been able to rotate an E254 Colgan's Chip that was 90 degrees out of whack until the floating head was rightly uprighted.

Tapping it is fine; but I too have received cards that were under the prongs and damaged/stuck there. But that's probably 2 out of 1000 cards I've had graded by them.

I am curious on how your Pathe Freres Ruth turns out. I tried submitting mine at this past National for 2 hour service. I got called back about 30 minutes later and was told that they wouldn't be able to holder it because they wouldn't be able to authenticate it in such little time.
