Default Origin of Lamps discovered

We have seen a few examples of these lamps (I have the Cubs) on this site, but I'm not sure we knew the origin of them. Some speculated they were produced by Stanford Pottery (made sense to me). It appears we have an answer now. Howell China is the manufacturer (or at least they packaged and distributed them). Braves and White Sox versions both appeared recently with the same packaging, so I assume we have an answer.

Fun stuff

Nice job Mike....

Very cool to see the original packaging, and helpful to see what the original shades looked like as well

I second what Mark says about the shades. That uncertainty always has bugged me. Now I have a mission on Black Friday: Find suitable replacements for these.

Mike, this is really great info about the origin of these lamps and helps answer a question I've had for years. Many thanks for posting.
