Card or not a card -?

I recall some controversy about an item in the REA auction that was holdered (by PSA) and whether or not it was really a card in even the boradest sense and also whether it ought to be holdered.
What do people think about this one?

I might add that SGC's designation of the item is such that there really shouldn't be much confusion and that they are fine in my book since they describe what it is. ALso, its really really nice.
