Default I think I just found a Brown Old Mill...

Just thought some people would get a kick out of this one. Saw it on eBay a few weeks ago.

Default waz

congrats.
It looks like it may well be a unique brown old mill freak.
It looks as though the brown color appears on very freakish places on the card perhaps
due to the printing process being affected by the shift in the sun's magnetic fields--- which should have occurred during the 1909-1911 span of time.
I do wonder why other old mills were not affected in similar ways---unless they
are being hoarded by a collector or collectors.
Still, quite a coup, waz.
all the best,
barry
for purposes of clarity

I think the 1908 Tanguska event created a similar effect over the next 2-3 years

Default brown om

ian,
great point!
It reminds me that I haven't checked for similar errors on my early-mid 50s
Bowman and Topps cards. That Castle Bravo was quite a monster, too.
I would think it might make the entire backs of the Bowmans quite brown.
all the best,
barry
