LOL. Same dealer, but different item. No, he did not advertise the "postcard" as having Collins. That was my discovery on the item.

Brian,

Interesting photo. Any idea of when and where it was taken ???

Probably pushing it, but A's wise, kind of looks like Bris Lord to Collins left.

Scott,

Thank you and sorry for the delay in getting back with you. I do not know when the photo was taken or if it is Bris Lord on the far left. I guess he borrowed one of the jackets from the other team because from the waist down the guy on the far left has the same uniform as Collins.

Sweet Al Simmons. I feel like he's one of the more underrated players of the 20s-30s. He and Bill Terry.

Great Simmons rookie, Leon, think that is the nicest one that I have ever seen.

Default Cheating a bit on this one,

as I just won it yesterday afternoon, and don't have it in hand yet, but don't ever recall being able to post three times in one month (and the first being on the first, and the last being on the last). Thanks to Bryan, Jerry, Ben, Erick, Patrick and Ed for the heads-up on this one. Becomes #287 in the rebuilt collection.

Bryan had asked how quickly the cards were showing up now. Looking back, from March 4 of last year to today, I've been able to get 15, or one page in the binder. If things keep at that rate, I figure I should be at number 300 right around Christmas.

I bought my first T card 14 years ago, a T206 Matty white cap. Somehow it's taken me until now to buy the much better-looking dark cap version. Pretty nice eye appeal/technical grade ratio on this one.

Ed, I am so glad there was another bidder between you and me, I was so worried I drove your price up. I noticed this card when there was around 5 minutes left, and didn't think I could notify you in enough time. So I tried to buy it for you, but got outbid by.....you and another guy. At least now I know what your e-bay looks like if I see another, I won't bid if you already have. Glad to see it come home to you.
