Nice Cobb David! That is a strong 1 for sure. Wonder why it graded so low...

Default T207 Anonymous back

This card has a lot of neat things going for it. This is a tough player to find and it is one of the short prints. Plus, Almeida is from Cuba, and I am intrigued by the Cuban ball players. And finally, this card was made in Louisiana, so it fits into my Louisiana collection.

Here's a Mordecai Brown with great eye appeal! Also has a wet sheet transfer on the front of the card. Thanks Charlie!

Thanks Greg! Couldn't agree more. It looks like there is a speck of paper loss on the left front side, which I guess explains the 1 grade? Regardless, it is a fine specimen for this low-grade collector...

Picked them up from Heritage. Never saw them before. It's a full foldout. Was surprised it went so cheap with 2 HOFers especially Lajoie, from 1905!! Lot 83476...1905 Hackett's Fold-Out Photoengravings of Nap Lajoie, Jack Chesbro & Others....

Pardon the obvious "Non-Sports" nature of the cards (and the overt Racism). With all that out of the way, I thought the baseball card enthusiast would appreciate this Uncataloged & rare E-card series as it is obviously closely related to the E125 American Caramel series of Baseball Players. The series was apparently looking to capitalize on the popularity of Teddy Roosevelt and his African hunting expeditions...

Default 1934 Gold Medal Foods Wheaties Premium Odell Hale

I got this one back from the grader a long time ago and somehow never got around to posting it in the '' Pick-Ups''....there are several fans of this set so I'm posting it for them , to know to add to their list of cards to watch for , since this one is not in all the checklists . The Burke 4 x 6 photo is in the scan because I just bought it because I thought it was the one used to make the card ( nerds often collect stuff like that...hey , I'm not alone here ). Wrong uniform and location though. Neat pose ; I've always thought of those Burkes as little works of photo-art.

n28, E90-1, and a Turkey Red in your first pick-ups, not a bad way to start! Congrats and welcome to vintage collecting, you'll enjoy this far more than modern!

Absolutely. And that Glasscock is a thing of beauty.

That sounded dirty but I didn't man it that way.

I wonder why the Auth designation. Snipped perhaps?

See what I did there?

Thanks guys. Im guessing the A was for it being trimmed. Just an amazing card that presents really well to me. Wanted a Young that didnt look like it had been crumpled into a ball, but I felt this was a good price and a decent starting point.
