Default 1951 bowman overprints

Leon's posting of overprints stirred my curiosity, so I went to document the vendor's recent sales.

Most cards seem to be between 217-252 although i couldn't find a back for 217 or 241.

Also they seem to be from two different sheets. Some have name plates filled in and some are blank.

First number is the back and second number id's the player on the front.

I can send better scans for any one interested.

thanx Roger

p.s. I don't own any overprints all scans from ebay

I have the uncut 4 or 5 card overprint scrap strip with Williams on it. I can't recall who else is - maybe Fox?

Default Overprints

These are neat. I have a couple of 1968 Topps Game cards with the backs overprinted on the front
