Thanks! 1916 on the photo printed backwards. It was in with the Connie Mack and Dan Toby photos you got from me.

that's an amazing window display - I too wonder how many of those figures are still around.


speaking of window displays, here's a sample from a batch of 8x10s of early National Baseball Week

Default Mays was in 1962 Auravision

Mays was part of the 1962 Auravision set, as well as the 1964 issue.

I wonder if the photo has anything to do with the 40th Anniversary of the National League celebration? They look like cakes so it has to be some sort of special occasion.

Dan it may not be Cincinnati. The writing is backwords and hard to read. On the back is typed The Window and Baseball Saturday is hand writen below. You may be on to something about the 40th Anniversary. Thanks for the artical very interesting.
