Default Possible trade

So I posted my 1927 Rochester red wings score card and a member of the Rochester ny baseball historical society is interested in it and would like to make a trade . Problem is not sure how to value it as it is hand scored and HOF member rabbit Maranville had a bunt hit in the game. Any opinions on value? Thanks for looking any opinions are welcome.

What would you receive? Would you rather own that item or items than the scorecard? Don't feel like you need to give it up if you're not sure you'd be happier with what you'd get in return, whatever the dollar value might be.

Autographed Jim rice bat which I would cherish as much as the score card. Plus I have another one. I just want to get a fair trade.

Assuming the Rice bat isn't game used, I'd think you could find those without too much difficulty. If you're worried if the values may not line up, you may want to sell the scorecard on eBay and use the proceeds to completely fund or at least offset some of the cost of a similar bat.

I would say the program is worth in the neighborhood of $100. I have a number of early American Association programs. As others have said it depends on what you are getting and whether you’d rather have that. If not a game used bat, I think that trade is a little light, but I’m not really interested in a Jim Rice bat. I guess it would probably retail for about $100 and you said you have another program. Anyhow, the market on minor league stuff isn’t hot I’d say so it’s really up to you. Its certainly not worth hundreds so you’re in the same ballpark at least.

Yes it is! I’ve been so lucky to meet and talk with so many good passionate people in love with this sport and collecting. Not being familiar with the older pre war stuff that I can’t find information on, I find this forum and the knowledge here invaluable. Thanks again all!

Congratulation, glad it worked out. Since the story had a happy ending, I know I can't be the only one who'd love to see a picture of the new bat.
