That OJ in 1 I sold recently sort of qualifies. Not seeing the "but" on your example what am I missing?

The chip on the right border is very distracting to me. When I bought it I knew it would be a candidate for an upgrade in the future. But it looks pretty good otherwise so I snagged it. It is in a PSA 3 holder because of a few wrinkles that can barely be seen to the naked eye.

Not getting a number due to those tack holes is ridiculous. To me Authentic should be reserved for an altered card. Any card with even catastrophic damage is a "1" if it's all there, or even mostly all there.

Used to have this WaJo, but upgraded when I had the chance to. The chip in the top border drove me crazy. It is hard enough to find some of the t205s in nice condition without worrying about minor flaws though.

Agree. This guy got a number despite tack holes.

I've always agreed with that. I know some collectors despise them but how a really clean card with a single pinhole grades lower than a card with a bunch of creases doesn't make much sense to me. A nice trimmed card? I get that. But a tiny pinhole not even noticeable in some pictures? I'll never understand that.

..it's even worse when the card shows up only every twelve years or so ...makes upgrading difficult for senior collectors....

Your standards are too high....if that card had rounded corners, you wouldn't mind the chip at all

This Max Stein Cobb has zero creasing and ultra sharp corners. On the right I posted pics of the staple-holes on the top and bottom of the card. Without the staple holes, the card is a 7-8 easily.

My T3 displays great color and is in amazing shape except the 4 back corners are skimmed. It doesn’t affect the checklist at all.
