The T227 Cobb is from a fellow board member. The Holsum Bread Cobb (a true of 1 of 1) cost me a 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson, and it and Mr. Speaker have not yet come in the mail, but my cards are in transit, so.... The two Matty's are, well, awesome (the portrait from a Board Member). Busy end of the year. I really must stop looking at Net54 and Ebay

Found a halftone colorized postcard of a locally historic ballgame played in 1908 when Cap Anson's Colts semi-pro team barnstormed the local town team (Marengo IL). I have a RPPC of the game, and knew of 2 other RPPC's from the game in the local history museum. This halftone card, based on the photo of one of the RPPC, was a new discovery to me. It was produced by the E.C. Kropp Co. of Milwaukee, while the RPPC were done by the Creators company of Elgin, IL. Cap Anson played 1st base in the game.

Just an 'art' card (which don't get much respect on this forum), but I do like it as a card that never was:
1930 R319 Whitlow Wyatt (created from a picture I had not seen) - very few pics in his Detroit Uni. 1930 R319 wHITLOW wYATT.jpg
