ladies day tickets
ladies day ticket were introduced in 1932 and ended in 1942
they are almost impossible to date by year unless there is some thing noted which could be fabricated however your 1941 J ticket game 29 is a Di Maggio Streak ticket for sure June 21st http://www.baseball-reference.com/bo...94106210.shtml nice ticket and PSA will slab it as such you can even quote me on it |

I went through the pieces I pulled from the scrapbook I got these tickets from, and discovered this article/box score from this June 20, L-4 ticket, along with a cartoon image of Dimaggio depicting the streak.
Pretty cool to able to make a connection between some pieces I have had for a long time. I probably should have kept the scrapbook together years ago, but didn’t make the connection – you live and learn. I have been asking for years if there was any way to date some of these tickets and David’s article helped with the “J” ticket, and draw some connection to this “L” ticket. 20150730_085519.jpg |

Displaying Tickets
I just got these tickets which are now up on Ebay if anyone is interested, but I wanted to show how the previous owner displayed them.
(Mantle's only game at Shortstop, also Phila. A's 1st and last game of last year in existence.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/181841108029...84.m1555.l2649 I really like what he did, as you hopefully can see in the pix he has the ticket in a plastic holder, then that is placed into inserts on his page with it titled, then shows the season schedule with the game highlighted and also on the back the full box score from the game......just an idea for those who collect tickets and how to display them. |

Afternoon everyone...
My name is Andy and i am new here obviously...but not new to collecting. I collect Cleveland Indians items mostly. Ticket stubs or full in particular. Here are a few I myself have collected over the years. I am always searching for opening day ticket stubs, full unused tickets or other rare feats. So if you have any Indians ones I do have a list of what i am searching for. Thanks again for taking a look at my items. If i get a chance i will post some more that i think are pretty interesting. Welcome aboard Andy. I am mainly a card guy but every now and then will pick something else up. I think I have shown this 1903 AL Pass before, and it's not a ticket, but it's close..

MICKEY MANTLE last at bat ticket Boston Red Sox 1968 September 28th
MICKEY MANTLE last at bat ticket Boston Red Sox 1968 September 28th
what makes this ticket all the more rare is at the time nobody thought it would be Mantles last at bat also being at Boston last series of the season both teams out of contention it was not a big attendance and most people anticipated Mickey coming back for one more year in 1969 obviously it never happened mantle last game.jpg great ticket of great Baseball player |
