I was really surprised at how low it went for. I didn't expect to win it. What's your collecting focus now? |

Jeff that pre-rookie of the admiral is a great looking card. I have never seen one one before. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Here is my latest pickup. I have been looking for a PSA 8 of this card for close to a year and finally found one that was centered and got it for a great price.

Keeping with the Bruins theme, here's a tough 1971-72 Bruins postcard signed by Bobby Orr.

Winging its way here from Europe as we speak:
From 1958, he was one of the greatest Soviet players and coached the 1972 summit team that nearly beat the NHL all-stars.

Cool card! But just to clarify, the Russians played Canada in the Summit series, not a team of NHL all-stars.

Back in 72 the NHL was Canada much unlike today's NHL. If your not Canadian, part of your thought process back then was it was us (NHL/Canada) versus the world. With that said, the Canadian National Pride is completely understandable and should be embraced.

This ebay purchased arrived today leaving just four cards to complete the 1961 Topps set. Pat Stapleton had a 15 year NHL WHA career, but this card always looked a little creepy to me.

Love the pre-buzz cut Mullin!
Here are a couple of recent pick-ups: • A beautiful for the grade 1953 Parkhurst Rocket Richard. Tough to find these centered with nice registration! • A 1922-23 Royal Bank Hockey Team RPPC with hall-of-famer Roy "Shrimp" Worters (Goalie)

This card completes my 1966-67 Topps hockey set. The card gets an A grade because it is trimmed, SGC "customized" the gasket to prevent the card from moving around.
