Thought I'd share my only piece of Red Sox memoribila
I got this piece from my grandfather shortly before he passed back in the mid-eighties. Sorry for the lousy picture quality (and for the reflection of my basement ceiling).
If I remember correctly, he had something to do with the screen printing/lithography of the graphics on these items. |

A glass display item that was given out to attendees of the Red Sox 100 Seasons Anniversary dinner. Base is autographed by Yaz. Hard to get a good picture of it but the image is of Fenway Park and Hunntington Avenue Baseball Grounds.

Carrigan
Here is a 2014 National pickup that I really like. For $20 I absolutely couldn't resist the opportunity to buy it.
The top photo is a circa 1915 vintage snapshot of Red Sox great Bill Carrigan from the Carrigan family scrapbook. In addition to managing the Red Sox, Bill Carrigan caught the first two no-hitters thrown at Fenway: George "Rube" Foster and HB Dutch Leonard, both in 1916. This photo made an excellent complimentary piece for my game used ball from the George Foster no-hitter game that I own. Last edited by Scott Garner; 08-04-2014 at 02:27 PM. |

BEAUTIFUL shots, Michael.
Just FYI, the DiMaggio is definitely from '41, and the Doerr is definitely from '40. Great pickups! Graig

That's a great photo. Would love to eventually find a 1909-1912 original photo / postcard to put in with my T206 display. Currently have a reprint.

Been "Away"
This thread should never go away. In the words of Lee Iacocca for the Mustang debut, It's coming. I see many of my old treasures posted, good to see people love the items. All of my remaining items from the estate and collection will up for sale next Sunday. Starting with this.

I'm not sure who this is, if it's even Boston Red Sox player. Could it be Ortiz? Or maybe Brooklyn Dodgers player?
