Default Inventory/Checklist program or App

My database skills are weak so I've been using a spreadsheet, but I'd like a better method.

I'd really like an app for my phone so I have my need list with me at all times. I could reduce my pursuits, but what fun would that be?

That reminds me. Is there an iPhone app for barcode scanning Psa labels?

Windows phone can run excel spreadsheets. And they can be synched through skydrive. So you could have the spreadsheet available on computer, phone and tablet, always updated.

My wife showed me one of her stamp spreadsheets this evening when I asked. I forgot to ask if the file is on the cloud (skydrive) and run from various devices, or if it's retained on the device.

I suppose a disclaimer is on order as well, or maybe a claimer. My wife works for Microsoft, but not directly on those products.

Other systems may offer something similar, but I have no experience with them.

I use Goodreader (iPhone) and sync all kinds of files to my iPhone. The files I use the most are PDF's. Searchable, able to zoom out, etc. Pictures, text, etc.
