Don't you have a piece of that metal work as well?

Nice trio of related items! Truly a beginning to end story on those. What order did you pick them up in, or did you obtain the photo and the piece of steelwork at the same time?

I've had the photo the longest, Lance. I got the piece of upper deck truss when they were tearing down the Stadium in 2009. I found the drawing last summer, but just had it framed.

Very nice, Scott, never saw that version before. Those I have seen (stadium premiums) have Ted in the back row of the team photo.

Thanks guys. It was in a ghastly frame, but when unincarcerated, was luckily untrimmed and gently tucked into corner holders.

Now that is funny. Given that I bought it framed, I was very worried that it would be trimmed, and I paid accordingly

I know it sounds like I enjoy it, but I hate to do battle with people over slabbing unless it involves crooks. Obviously, I think it was a bad move for the hobby, but I feel the same way about card slabs even though, as you pointed out, photos are not actually graded. There are people on both sides of such issues, like everything else.

Maybe this is known, but these were photos that were given to each player. They oftentimes were signed by each player from the team. I have some earlier ones, but this version is VERY rare and truly a great piece. Most of these were framed in just a cheap wood frame. Thanks for posting

Soo.
Why not frame them together?

Sorry couldn't help myself. Although a display case with the metal piece in it and the framed plans above would look nice.

It would look nice. I'm hoping that someday my wife lets me bring it in the house.

I'd love to have one of those or any piece of metal from the old yankee stadium.
