Default My latest purchase and a major milestone for my collection

I bought my 1st Frank Robinson RC raw from my favorite shop in 2002 and it came back a "6" after I submitted it to PSA. With this upgrade, I now have every HOFer RC since 1956 (Aparicio) in PSA 8 or better. This is as far back as my consecutive streak of "8's" or better will possibly go since I'll never own the Clemente RC in NM-MT (mine's a 5).

I'm very pleased with this card's centering, color and corners. The only detraction is the fish-eye on the left side, and I can live with that. It didn't come cheap but it's one of the nicest FRobby RCs I've seen.

Underrated card of an underrated player, and that's a super sharp example. Congrats on the upgrade!

don't go cheap on me, go get that Clemente 8....You can't have an ugly 5 stinkin up all those 8's. Gotta love Frank Robinson, especially that one!

Wow, sharp card. That card is really under rated as mentioned...so classic looking and what a great player. Very nice, and congrats on your collection...

Choking up on the bat like that, I suspect he's a singles hitter. Doubt he'll ever hit more than 8-10 HRs per season.

Very nice Robby. Keep him around longer than Cincy did and you'll be fine.

Congrats! Great Card of the most under rated player from that era.
