Super excited to share my most recent pick up. Was one of my white whales. This is the first item I posted about raising funds for on my BST posts.
This ticket is from Dec 23, 1979 of the NY Rangers vs Boston Bruins at MSG. The significance of the game is that it's the game where almost the entire Bruins teams went into the stands to fight the fans. I have been searching for a copy for a loooooong time.
While I am not a big ticket collector, I am a longtime Ranger fan who happened to watch the game on TV as it happened. It's one of my most fun and crazy memories watching games back then.
Below is a video of the incident. For those interested, an entire copy of the game is one YouTube as well.

Not acquired in April, but finally got around to properly scanning a recent pickup - this panoramic of the 1930 Old Timer's Day. Some legends in this image. From the Roger Bresnahan estate.

I picked up this 1961 placemat to go with my 1964. I don't know what possesses people to save paper for 63 years, but I'm glad someone did.

Happy to win this incredible lot of 19 original Frank Smith slides plus one cracked glass slide of Speaker/Covaleski. Looking forward to seeing the 8x10 prints. The Naps team photo has Joe Jackson and now I am on the hunt to find the original paper with the article that is included. If anyone won the other lots and wants to sell some slides please let me know
