The Thrill of the... Hoard?
Lately I’ve been struggling to sell cards I didn’t ever think I’d be attached to — even if it means not having sufficient funds to go for something I really want. The thrill of the hunt used to inspire me to sell just about anything in my collection to make a run at something. Today... not so much. Maybe it’s because of the pain I still feel for letting some cards go that I can’t get back. But I can’t seem to put my finger on it.
Anyone else have trouble saying goodbye to cards, even on the periphery of my collection. I feel like those old timers on American Pickers who can’t part with even just one of their 17 rusty old bicycles...
