1935 Babe Ruth type 1 photo taken in a Boston Braves uniform! First ever taken!!
This is the first photo of Babe Ruth in a Braves uniform ever, and it's a type 1, and it was taken in early March 1935 during spring training. Ruth is shown seated next to HOF Manager Bill McKechnie. Ruth type 1 photos are bringing crazy, ridiculous money. The year Ruth was a Brave was extremely memorable. The team was horrible compiling a record of 38-115. Ruth had a final hurrah however at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field in May 25, 1935 when he slammed his final three homeruns, in one game mind you, with the final one going over the right field roof of the stadium! Again, this is the first documented pic of Babe in a Boston Brave's uniform, it is a type 1 Keystone photo, and a tremendous bargain compared to other Ruth type 1's. Photo is in excellent condition, approx. 8x10.....$2500 delivered, thanks... NOW $2250,,,,$2000 GETS IT!!
