Default Is this 1971 topps Gil Hodges autograph real?

I got It for 10 cents this morning at the flea market along with a few other autographs out of a dealers box of random cards. The 1967 Al Jackson and 1988 Fleer Robert Parish are legit that were in the box....what are the chances this is real? I don't want to waste my money on PSA if it's not.

Your thoughts and opinion welcome..as it seems way to good to be true !!

You have to remember topps used the same facsimile autograph on the 1971 topps as they did for the 1956 topps...they used the same one for 15 years. His autograph changed as he got older. You cannot compare the facsimile on the 1971 card to what his autograph looked like in the late 1960's till his death in 1972...it changed a lot. - auto's before his death look a lot like this one.

Jeff,
I don't think anyone's opinion is based on comparing this signature with the one on the card. Unfortunately for you this signature is a really bad fake.

Also for your information, his signature in 1971 looked a lot more like the one printed on the card than poorly attempted fake on this one.
