Default This listing cracked me up

I hope I'm not "outing" this one, but after I read it I couldn't stop laughing

Default Wow

I have to hurry and get my bid in. I've got the feeling that a bunch of you guys are going to email the seller and persuade him to end the auction early with an offer of $4 million or so.

I hope the front of the card looks as good as the back. I guess I won't know until I receive the card.

Rick

Gone. Snatched up by some sharp eyed collector, no doubt.

The auction was for a bunch of crap.

From what I can remember, the seller said he was selling a T206 Wagner, Goudey Lajoie, T207 Lewis, 1952 Mantle, A Rod rookie plus "a lot" of other cards including Topps, Fleer, Bowman and others. HE said only the A Rod rookie and a couple of other cards were graded.

They made a big deal about the Wagner and gave a short history about it.

They showed a picture of the back of a T206. It was a Sweet Caporal 150 series, if I remember correctly. They also showed the back of a Goudey Mickey Cochrane which had some paper missing.

The seller said all the cards were NR Mint or better, that he had collected them from Arkansas and Colorado and had owned them for a long time.

He started the auction off at $5,000,000 dollars but would be taking offers.

ha ha the seller emailed me today with a picture of a Honus Wagner card he said was his. He forgot to take a full picture he said....the one he sent me conveniently left off the printing under the picture. It seems this seller is from somewhere in East Asia and not in Colorado where he claimed to be. Needless to say, I am waiting to see if he excepts my offer of $2,000,000 for his reprint
