I think most of us can relate to that story. Everyone should read it......Heck, if you put "type collecting" in for the acronym "T206" and "Kim" in for his wife, that could easily be me!!

That was an excellent article. I think he should write a screenplay. Maybe something like Owning Mahowny -- with BB cards instead of casinos.

Boy, this part below really describes me with my Yankees cards:

My wife Tejal held a torn manila envelope, displaying the contents before me. Within a welded slab of hard plastic was my T206 Piedmont Rube Waddell baseball card.

"You told me you stopped.""

I did. I ordered these off eBay months ago. They must have just sent them." I had actually bought them just a week before.

My wife asked me how much I paid. I told her $30. She threatened to feed the card to the evil dog that lived downstairs. I confessed and told her it cost $350.

Ha ha ha, i am SO addicted, and i have to constantly tell my wife the cards that come in were ordered awhile ago and mainly that they are cheap. I go further than in that article, i will say they are just a few bucks when they are over $100. The worst thing is when someone sends it needing a signature, then i really have to dance around with my wife, complaining that i cant believe for a cheap card the seller wanted a signature. I hope she believes me.

Hilarious! Makes one wonder why there arent more women running down (then backing over) their spouses in the driveway.

Some men hide lipstick on their collar. With me, it's my Ebay password.
