Saw that last night. He had just had a kidney transplant a month earlier. RIP Dave.

Donnie Moore committed suicide. A horrible story. Shot his wife beforehand, but she survived.

Loved watching him play as a kid. No one made catching a routine fly ball look more fun than him. He'd bounce around on his tippy toes as he threw the ball back in, smiling the whole time. RIP Hendu.

I remember on every Oakland As game the announcers always had to make sure that the two Henderson's in the OF had 'no relation'...

Thanks for the recollection of those memories, Ian...I had forgot about those catches he made.

I loved watching him play as he was one of the guys I remember from when I was growing up watching baseball. He, like many other A's players, hit some towering home runs...thanks for the memories hendu, you will not be forgotten.
