Just bought this for the most I've ever paid for a card--300 bucks. I love the old-time look and the gold sheen in the background. From Tip Top bread company. They only released the World Series team Pittsburgh Pirates 1909 in their set. Interesting to see that they use the correct grammar": "World's Champions" rather than the incorrect "World Champions" we use today.

Default PCL OJ card

My favorite card would have to be a PCL player from Old Judge. A close runner up would be Cap Anson n uniform from same series.

Wow-- some gorgeous pieces here. The sheer concept of those signed T206s tickles the mind. Here's my two faves; just could not pick one over the other.

How the heck do you expect a guy to choose ONE favorite card? C'mon, tell me. (I could keep going all night!) Matt, how do you expect anyone to follow your two? Whoa!

Guys, awesome cards. Really love the diversity.

Right now, this is probably my favorite card.

This is my sentimental favorite - 1970 Topps Jimmie Hall. My very first card. The top card on the stack of the first pack that I purchased as a eight-year-old boy. I have many vintage cards purchased since that time, but this has a special place in my collection.

I cannot decide which of these cards are my favorite....as, they are all equally appreciated.
I leave it up to you to decide ?

Excuse me for reprising this post.......but, I forgot to include the T206 red Cobb with the very rare SOVEREIGN 460 back. I searched 2 1/2 years for the card when
I was putting together my all-SOVEREIGN set. Then another 6 years to find this one to upgrade my former SOVEREIGN 460 red Cobb.

Red Cobb's come and go.....they are the most available T206 subject in The Monster's population. Indeed this image is American Lithographic's "signature picture".

However, this front/back combo is extremely difficult to find. It's my opinion, that it is the toughest (next to the BROAD LEAF 460) of the T206 red Cobb cards.

I'm curious......let's see a show of posts of how many collectors on this forum have this card (condition is immaterial) ?
