this is so rare it's off the charts....

I have never seen a 3 ring championship box (the rings did not come with the box but I had acquired the rings throughout the years).

Steve, is that Sabathia in the middle row of the team picture?

I'm a little thin on Yankees WS stuff but coincidentally this aerial photo of Yankee Stadium arrived yesterday courtesy of our irreproachable friends at Legendary. It depicts Game 1 of the 1941 World Series. In my six decades I have seen the wonders of Athens and Rome and Lethbridge, Alberta, visited Mayan ruins in Palenque and Oaxaca, and I have walked on the Great Wall of China, but this old ballyard, the House that Ruth Built, is still the grandest edifice my eyes have beheld. When they tear it down I am going to die a little bit.

Picked up this WS program a few years years ago. I was at Game 2 (as I have mentioned about fifty times already on this forum). Mom threw away my original copy.
