T209-2 Question
Posted By: Zach Rice
I was looking over a few of mine from the set today and became intrigued by the inner gray border that seperates the inner photo and the white border on them. I included scans of my Derrick and McFarlin. I've noticed that the size of this gray border varies drastically. It can be very fat like on the McFarlin, a bit skinner like on the Derrick or even not even there on some except at the bottom. Does anyone know the story behind this ? Was this a result of poor product control or just the design. I would imagine it would have been easier to make every card with the same inner gray border but apparently it wasn't that way. Also, if I were to find another McFarlin, would the inner gray border on it be the same as mine or could it be possibly skinner or even fatter ? Thanks in advance for any help. |
