Default Ty Cobb 1912 Freemason Graduation Photo

Hi guys I have a chance at a really neat and unique Ty Cobb item. Local collector found this in a house clean out- a freemason graduation picture dated January 22,23,24,25 1912. States “Lou Burt’s Class, Michigan Sovereign Consistory, valley of Detroit”. I have never seen this before but appears to match up with the Cobb write up I found regarding his becoming a 32 degree mason ( http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masoni...eball_fdcs.htm). Not sure how legit the website is. Anyone know anything about it? Value? Rarity? Thanks!

Good chance it's unique. I've never seen it before. Interesting display item, though the value is in part related to the size.

I would say that is something that would have a different value everyday depending on the buyers in the room. More an "value is in the the eye of the beholder" item.

Awesome conversation piece and would look great on display. Only issue is that you would be forever pointing out Ty to people looking at to explain it's reason for display. It's definitely not in your face with the significance.

Joe, here's a similar photo from 1926 with Mordecai Brown.

Nice photo. Wish I could help with any info except it reminds me of a Horner League Composite...
