Awesome Ruth pickups, Jim.
I recently added a couple 1931 Tour of Japan postcards. The one with Gehrig kind of goes with the Ruth one that I already had. |

Nice one, Phil. I struck out on the VE Bescher for my Bescher back run. I collect this back that I call Kotton type 1. If you get to the end of your run, and only need this one to finish, I'll trade it to you. If you already have this back, then that's even better.

I just received this Crescent in the mail from a board member (JMANOS), very easy to deal with, and hope to do more business with him in the near future.
Been looking for a Crescent for a long time and I'm happy to have this beater in my collection. Still looking for more examples so if you know of any for sale please lmk. |

This is the first time I've studied over a vintage pickup thread since I sold off almost all of mine early in 2021.
It's refreshing to see some beauties still new homes. Very Impressive.

Great blank back McQuillen card, but how did SGC determine it was a T216, and not an E90-1, E106 or D303 blank back? Does it have paper stock instead of cardboard?
And it doesn't matter which set it ends up being from, still a neat card. Brian |

Also heard there's some fairly evident cardboard stock differences between the T216s and the Es...he's definitely cardboard from what I can see Last edited by Seiklis; 02-21-2023 at 06:13 PM. |
