I picked up an unidentified catcher pin from the PM1 Ornate pinback set and am attempting to identify the unnamed player on front. Obviously, it is difficult as the images on the pin are a bit embellished and the odds of finding the exact photo are pretty slim. Anyways, to me it looks like a very young Ray Schalk (see attached photo for comparison--the equipment looks identical) even though the face doesn't scream Schalk to me. Would appreciate others' insight...

He certainly wears/creases his cap the same way:

The catcher is not Ray Schalk. The nose is the indicator.

The nose is pretty clear. I have seen the face of the catcher before, but at the moment I can't place him. It is not Schalk.

Doesn't look like Schalk to me, these all seem to originate from real photos so no reason why it would have been created meaning to be him but does not look like him.

Another catcher with the same style of crease.

Walters it is, thanks guys. The face didn't look like Schalk to me either but these PM1's without the name on front can be kinda crude representations so I thought there was a chance of it being a very poor representation of Schalk after seeing the photo I posted but it definitely looks like we figured it out!

I think the similar hat creasing is likely just the effect of the mask and its straps.
