Default Question About a Show/Auction in Pa

Posted By: Chris

I was wondering if anyone has ever been to the Ephrata Lions Club Sports Card Show and Auction in Ephrata, PA in Lancaster County. I am debating whether to go, so I want to know if it is worthwhile. They have about 40 dealers. I know they have had good guest autographers in the past.

Default Question About a Show/Auction in Pa

I was at the Ephrata show two years ago when Bob Feller was the autograph guest. There was not too much vintage there. One or two dealers had some T206s.

Default Question About a Show/Auction in Pa

Posted By: Glyn Parson

I go to buy, almost every year, and there is usually some vintage, however it is mostly newer product and overpriced VG 1950 & 1960's cards. It is not bad for a small local show there is at least a chance a card might be there but I would not drive too far for it. I drive about 30-45 minutes to get there. If it where much farther I would probably pass on going and I sell cards for a living. I'll be there early tomorrow morning.

Default Question About a Show/Auction in Pa

Posted By: Rich Klein

The Ephrata show has been going strong for more than 20 year now (it may be even longer than that but I don't recall from memory)

Never was there when I lived up North; but I wish we had some more shows like that in DFW

Regards
Rich
